The most current stable release of Jython is 2.5.3. For production purposes, please use this version.
The 2.5.4rc1 release candidate is now available for use. This release fixes numerous bugs since the 2.5.3 release of Jython.
The Jython 2.7beta1 release is also available for download. Jython 2.7b1 brings us up to language level compatibility with the 2.7 version of CPython. We have focused largely on CPython compatibility, and so this release of Jython can run more pure Python apps then any previous release.
Please use the link below to download the Java installer. Once downloaded, please double-click on the JAR file to start the installation process. You may also want to read the Installation instructions or the Release Notes.
